It was begun at Yokohama, a port city in 1850.
The Chinatown appeared in Yokohama with the opening of the port in 1859. Chinese restaurants were opened one after the other by Chinese people who cherishes the taste of their countries. The food stalls that offered a simple dish of noodles started to appear mainly in Chinatown. Ramen is now an iconic Japanese dish. Let's break down the history of Japanese ramen! Japanese and ramen are inseparable "special" relationship!!
